Text Adventure games were difficult on the ZX Spectrum. You either didn't know the syntax, the directions, the grammer or your current status in these games. They required map making and good problem solving skills to get anywhere in these games.

There were games like The Hobbit, Bored Of The Rings, Zzzz and the strangest of all: Hampstead.

I bought this game when G-Force games in Glasgow was closing in 2019 along with Sherlock Holmes (also by Melbourne House).

Despite the complete solution being published in the YS Tipshop I thought I'd transcribe it from the video. This provides 93% completion in 215 turns.
